Battery C 140th World War I Loggins history Book.. The Trench art is constructed from a French WWI 75mm artillery casing dated 1914. The casing is nicely crimped at the bottom and stippled with the embossing reading "AEF US 140 FA C" and " World War." The manuals are in overall good to fair condition with some age and storage wear. Both manuals appear to be complete and both are completely legible. The wristband is manufacture stamped "Shell Cordovan." The watch face shows some slight cracking and discoloration as to be expected. The paint on the main housing seems to be all but worn off. The numbers and dial are still clear and legible. This measures approximately 9 inches in overall length. The rear of the watch is is engraved and was worn by two generations that both served in the US military. The engraving reads "D.H.W. A.E.F. 1917 to D.H.W.F. 1937." The postwar 140th Field Artillery history book also has a photo of Dameion H. Williams in his WWI uniform and a note gifting the book to his son. Both Dameion H. Williams and Dameion H. Williams Jr.
