This is in overall fair to good condition with signs of age and honest use. These were used frequently by US military members during WWI and WWII as a private purchase knife to have on their person. These were regarded as high quality craftsman knives of the time period. The blade measures approximately 4.25 inches with an overall length of 8 inches. The blade edge is in good condition but shows slight pitting and rust. The leather grip shows use but is still solidly in place with a ground flat to one side measuring approximately one inch. This is a good serviceable knife with the ricasso manufacturer stamped and dated "Marbles Gladstone Mich. USA" and "1918 USA" on the reverse side. The leather sheath is still malleable with the stitching, rivets and clasp soldily attached.
