The Esbit pocket stove as shown in �Uniforms and Traditions of the German Army� Vol. III by Angolia. These are in VG + condition. These stove used heating tablets They were just the right size to heat up a mess kit. This was a private purchase item sold commercially and commonly carried by German soldiers. Yes, these are marked "Made in Germany". This indicates they were made on prewar die and it was too expensive to retool! It is aslo marked D.R. Patent - Deutschesreich.
