WWII USAAF Type B-16 Bendix Magnetic Compass

This is in overall very good condition with little signs of age or use. This model of compass was used on various US Army Air Corp planes during WWII. This compass appears to be functioning properly . This is manufactured by Bendix Aviation Corporation. This is stamped "A.C. U.S. ARMY TYPE B-16 SER. NO. AF-43-78218" denoting this was manufactured in 1943. Someone has added a self adhesive memo on the bottom face of the compass reading "FOR STEER N E S W" that was typed with a typewriter.
